Cloke ; and Harold Watts. I Mr. .1. Ball, on behalf of the Umpires' ; Association, sought a ruling as to whether | senior grade matches are considered two-1 day ganies, in accordance with the laws of cricket. Mr. Ball said that a declaration on the first, day came into the question, and he foresaw difficulties unless the position was clarified. Mr. .T. F. W. Dickson (chairman) ruled that the senior matches were considered of two days' duration. They could not be , considered a one-day game, in spite of the fait that oiilv two half davs were played. 1 SENIOR B. Mount Koskill v.
