WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton. Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to fresh north-east to north wind 3. Weather fine and mild. Seas slight. An anti-cyclone, with its centre to the east, covers New Zealand but pressure is,falling in the south. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, north-east, light; sea, smooth; weather, fine and clear; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
