MELBOURNE CUP.
NEW ZBAJVAND "HOPES." MELBOURNE, November 5. The trainer T. George has not given up hope of suwess with Beau Vite in the Melbourne Cup. He atates that the colt was interfered with at a critical stage of the Victoria Derby and finished, gamely. Beau Vite should also appreciate the drop in weight. The connections of Catalogue are sanguine of success in the Melbourne Cup. Catalogue looks better than when he won last year, and there is a possibility that heavy going will enhance his chance.
