WELLINGTON, Saturday,
The provision of band music at Trentham camp will' be greatly assisted bv the generosity of Mewrs. Hamilton iJimmo, sen., R. H Nimmo and A. J. Nimmo. They have informed the Mayor of Wellington, Mr. T. C. A. HisloJ, as chairman of the Provincial Council that they will equip a Trentham band with a full Mt of instrument.. T'ie only condition of the offer is that after the war the instruments are to be handed over to the Y.M.C.A. enable rt to form a brass band for the city Wellington. There has been some criticism of tlie fact that Trentham n,obili«at,on cam P> where the central military district sec tion of the Special Force » in framing, lias so far been without .1 band, which 1* considered a valuable help trß,ni g ! •specially for men on the march.
