HALLOWE'EN PARTY.
CHILDREN ENTERTAINED. « Fabian Club room was the scene of a gay and animated throng when the St. Andrew's Society entertained the children, including a* number from the Dingwall Orphanage. The occasion was their annual children's Hallowe'en party. Mr. John I. Shields presided, ami Mr. John W. Galloway acted as master of ceremonies, while happiness reigned as the children particijwted in organised games and items.
The following children contributed to the programme: Miss Margaret Kennedy, Gwenda McLaren, Zita Austin, Betty Simpson. Pauline Tonge, Bettv Black, Master Aitken McGowan. Alister Crosier, Hugh McLaren. Teddy Tonge, Douglas Young, Murray Kirkpatrick! Keith Cameron, Xeil Murdoch and Mr. Storries' Harmonica Boys' Band.
An enjoyable evening concluded with dancing by the adults, while dance music was supplied by Piper Len Amor and Messrs. Allan, Jack and Kay.
