j annual reunion held. i Memories of the last war were revived I on Saturday i.ight when the New Zealand Engineers held their thirteenth reunion. A large number of those who served in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force of 19J4-191S attended, as well as representatives of other branches of the forces. The president, Mr. X. L. Higginson, was in the diiair. The toasts honoured included "Xew Zealand Engineers," proposed by Colonel 'J'. H. JJawson and replied to by Mr. M. K. Drarhn; "Fallen Comrades/' proposed by Mr. S. 'J'. Carter: "Army, Navy and Air Force." by Mr. W. Todd, and replied to by Captain H. Fitzgerald and Mr. G. A. Pearson: "The Aussies," proposed by Major H. M. Clark and responded to by Captain H. J. Beavis. A.1.F., and "Auckland Returned Soldiers' Association and Kindred Associations."' proposed by Mr. K. C. Day and replied to by Mr. W. R. Kendall. Items were given by Messrs. W. Todd J. W lliams. E. Xewling. G. Keseell and Professor Maxwell Walker.
