ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.

MAN ALIGHTING FROM CAR.

Severe gunshot wounds in the faec were suffered by Captain Donald McCrone, of 70, St. John Boad, Benniera, when his gun exploded as he was alighting from a car at Mount Wellington about 11.30 this morning.

He was taken in a St. John acabulance to the Auckland Hospital.
