METAL PRICES FIXED. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LOXDOX, September IS. The Metal Exchange has fixed maximum prices as follow: — Copper, unvvroug-ht, £49 10/ per ton in warehouse. Pig lead, foreign, ex ship, £16 12/6: ex warehouse, £17 5/; duty for buyers account Empire, lead, ex "ship, £17; ex warehouse, £17 12/6. Foreign spelter, ex ship, £15; duty for buyers account Empire, zinc, £17 5/, ex ship. Silver is quoted at 21 9-16 d per ounce for standard and 23 1 /id for fine.
The metals market will be closed until September 18.
