There was a sharp decline in the value ixf fat sheep at Addington. due to Ulie excess of entries. Ewe hoggets made to 20/6. ewes to 25/, and ewes and lambs all counted to 14/9. More than 8000 fat sheep were penned, a number of lines being from the south. The market opened 7/ to 0/ a head loss t'han last week's rates, and slipped still further in the final stapes by 8/ to 12/, bringing values to a lower level than a fortnight ago. PIG SALE AT TE PUKE. KEEN* PRICES GENERAL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE PUKE, Wednesday. An average yarding of pigs is reported by the Farmers' Co-operative Auctioneering Company at the Edgecunvbe sale tliifl week. \o prime bacon was yarded, but several pens of medium weights realised above ruling rates. There was a keen demand for buttermilk and store pigs, but smaller slips and weaners were rather dull.
