THIRTEEN RUBBERS TO SEVEN

A cablegram received in Auckland by Mr. E. J. Price, secretary of the Auckland Table Tennis Association, states that in Holiday night's match Xew Zealand beat Xew South Wales by 13 rubbers to 7.

Each man apparently -played four singles, and of the 16 rubbers in this section the Dominion won 11—5.

Each pair iti the doubles played two rubbers, and as they wound up "all square," this made Xew Zealand's margin of victory 13—7.

Tlie rubbers were apparently lint all "best of three sets. - ' as t'lie tally of sets was Xew Zealand 23, Xew South Wales 13.
