NEW AIR SPEED RECORD.
RUSSIAN CIVIL AIR PILOTS. (Received 1.00 p.m.) MOSCOW, September 4. Two civil pilots claim a new speed record, averaging 253 miles an hour on a triangular course of 3192 miles. The previous record was held by the Frenchman Rossi, who averaged 250.(j miles an hour over 3150 miles.
