KING'S MESSAGES.
Presidents Of France, Poland
And Tyrkey.
FEELINGS OF FRIENDSHIP. Independent Cable Service. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, September 4. The King has sent a message to President Lebrun. saying: "At this moment in the destiny of our two peoples, when they are once again standing shoulder to shoulder to help the victim of shameless aggression, I greet you, Mr. President, and in your name the whole French nation.
"We can both be confident of the justice of our cause, and convinced that our joint efforts and sacrifice will triumph as they triumphed a quarter of a century a so over the forces of destruction.—George B T."
President Moscicki of Poland, in a meswipc Kin'jr George, said: "At this grave hour, when Great Britain has decided to stand with Poland in defence of the sac ved principles of justice and liberty, may * express to Your Majesty the feelings of friendship and loyalty of the wholf Polish people towards the great British nation. —Moscicki.' '
The King replied: "I earnestly reciprocate Your Excellency's message expressing the feelings of friendship and loyalty of the wholj Polish people toward the British nation. I and my people are pro-d to stand beside you on your just and valiant resistance to shameless aggression, and I have un : shaken confidence that right will prevail.—George R. 1."
An official bulletin states the British Ambassador to Turkey presented to the President, General Ineunu. a message from King George in which he stated: '"It giv me deep satisfaction to know our two countries are united by firm bonds of friendship."
General Ineunu, replying, thanked the King for his message of greetings. "In the troubled times through which the world is passing, I feel, fur my part, great satisfaction at the bonds of friendship which strongly unite Turkey and Britain."
