DAISY CHAIN CLUB.

Mrs. Lord, the president, presided over the weekly meeting of the Daisy Chain Club, held in the club rooms. The "thought for the day" was read by the secretary, Mrs. Barfoot, in the absence of the vice-president. Mrs. Corrin. Arrangements for the clubs fifth birthday, to be held at an early date, were announced. During the day a splendid display of articles made out of a sugar bag caused great interest, and a vote on the best two was'taken, the winners being Mrs. Chalmers 1 (bag) and Mrs. Barton 2 (apron). The articles are put aside until later in the year, when a bazaar will be held for the good cheer box for helping the sic* and needy. Novelty prizes were won by Mrs. McKinnon and Mrs. Lord. Hostesses for the day were Mesdames McKinnon, Gelding and Dicks, and the afternoon tea conveners Mrs. R. Cairns and Mrs. E. Judge.
