NEW METROPOLE CABARET.
Non-stop action was the keynote of the entertainment provided by Sammy Lee's Americanadians at the New Metropole Cabaret on Saturday night. Ihe first of a series of novelty show numbers attracted plenty of attention and applause, the orchestra, costumed in keeping with the song, making an unusual entrance on to the dais and individually singing verses of "Eleven More Alonths and Ten More Days." Catchy songs with brisk swing arrangements were in constant demand, and "Pack Up Your Troubles" stirred the dancers to hearty enthusiasm. The addition to the programme of an oldtime waltz was greatly appreciated. Among those present were: Mesdames J. W. Pearce, Noel Patcrson, J. Logan (Thames), E. J. Parkinson, K. Johnston, Strong; Misses J. Dawson, Kitty and Marie"Manners, June Sutherland, Nancy Kealy, Gertrude Ellery, (iretchen Pearce, Gwenyth Lovey. J. Calderwood, Zoe Holmes, G wen Jones, J. McX.iinara, Betty Jury, Mvra Rowe, Avis Hedgeman, Rona Stevenson.
