Regulations were gazetted early thimorning to institute control of the sale, delivery or disposal of any medical sup plies held in stock or arriving in New Zealand. It will lie necessary for all firms dealing in medical supplies tc obtain a permit to do so. The medical officers of health in the various centres will have delegiited to them powers ■>! the controller of medical supplies f; r local application. Firms dealing in these supplies are re<juin>d to make application to the local medical officer of health for permits to sell, deliver or dispose of various supplies enumerated in a schedule to the regulations.
