WILL HELP ALLIES. Arabs Offer Services To Aid Britain. EGYPT MOBILISES. United Press Association.—Copyright. LOXDOX, September 3. Following a meeting of the Turkish Cabinet, it is reported from Istanbul that the President, General Inonu assured the British Ambassador that Turkey would remain faithful to the peace front on the side of Britain and France. This is assumed to be Turkey s reply to the visit of the Geiman Ambassador, Herr von Papen. The British Ambassador gave General Inonu a personal message from the King saying he was profoundly satisfied to know that the two peoples were bound by ties of friendship. Genera l Inonu replied that in this diilicult period lie felt equal satisfaction that bonds of friendship were stromdv umting Turkey and Britain. c * The Colonial i ms received advice fiom Palestine >s»i influential Arab organisations i„ various districts are ottering their services to the Air Raid Precautions organisatioir and for other dutjes. A message from Bagdad states that the Iraq Premier, Xuri Pa-ha h»< announced that Iraq will give Britain all her available help.
