A TWO-YEAR JOURNEY. VISITING DAUGHTERS IN AUSTRALIA. (Special.—By Air Mail.) LONDON, August 12. Eighty-year-old Mr. W. Barsbv, of Letchworth, Herts, lias started out on a 25,000-mile trip round the world, during which he will visit his daughters? jn Canberra and Melbourne and. nephews and nieces in Sydney. Mr. Barsby thus realises a life ambition. He will make tlie most of it, too, for he will be away for not less than two years. Two of his daughters, Mrs. Morris, of Letchworth, and Mrs. Irens, of Leicester, saw him off at Southampton. "Ever since he went to Canada 40 years ago my father has been determined to see more of the world,"' Mrs. Morris said. "His business prospered and now he lias retired." Mr. Barsby will also visit his son, who is an official at Kadio Corporation of America, New Jersey.
