PRICES FOR BEER.
TRIBUNAL DECISION.
STANDARDISATION MOVE. NEW TAX TO BE SHARED. (By Telegraph.—Presw Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The Minister of Industries and Commerce, the Hon. L). G. Sullivan, announced that he has received the report of the Price Investigation Tribunal concerning the price charged for beer. The Minister stated that he had the assurance of the tribunal that the decision, which was accepted by the parties, meant that portion of the recent increase in taxation would Ih' borne by the brewers and licensed victuallers, and provided for standardisation of measures and prices in the four ma.in metropolitan areas.
