RESTRICTION* OX SALES
Immediately following the news last night of tho attack launched by Germany on Poland garages in the city and suburbs were rushed by motorist's seeking supplies of petrol. The rusb continued until a late hour, and was renewed to-day.
Petrol re-sellers, however, took the precaution of conserving their flip pi ios as much «« possible, and in the majority of cases restricted the sa'fc- of petrol to each customer to four gallons.
| Questioned concerning the position this morning, the chairman of the petrol section of tho Allied Motor Traders' Association, Mr. G. \V. Spragg, said that mem Iters of the association were not buying anything over normal requirements from tho petrol companies, who bud accepted orders for tlio issuing of normal supplies on Monday next.
