Notice is hereby giv<-n that at a Special Meeting of the Manukau Countv Council held on Tuesday, the loth day of August, 1030, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at a Special Meeting of the said. Council, to be held on FRIDAY, the 15tli day of September, 1030, at 12 Noon, at the County Chambers, corner of Shortland and Princes Streets, Auckland :— "That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf bv Sections 12 an<T* 13 of the Physical Welfare and Recreation Act, 1937, Section 17 of the Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, an Order-iu-Council in pursuance of Section 20 of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2) having been obtained authorising the Council to borrow, the Manukau County j Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to raise a Loan known as th£ Maraetai Reserve Loan, 1930, for the sum of £500 at a rate of interest of four pounds live shillings (£4 5/) per centum per annum for n period of ten years, for the purpose of acquiring and improving Part Lot 1.
