MARIPOSA SAILED.

CANBERRA MARU GOES SOUTH. TAMPA INTO DOCK. CALIFORNIA CLIPPER DEPARTS. Tlie Matron liner Mariposa, which arrived from San Francisco, via way ports, at 7 a.m. yesterday, sailed for Sydney and Melbourne at 11 o clock last night. She took 200 passengers- from Auckland and had on board 4TG booked through. She is due at Sydney at noon on Monday. The Osaka Syosen Kaisya Line motor ship Canberra Maru, which arrived from Japan on Thursday, completed discharge and loading of Auckland cargo at noon to-day and will sail this afternoon for Wellington. Dunedin and Lvttelton. She sails from Lyttelton on September 11 for Japan, via Australian ports, and is due at Kobe on October 9. The American motor ship Tampa, which lias been at anchor for a week in the stream, went into dock this morning to complete repairs to lier tailshaft. She is expected to undock on Monday, when slie will resume lier interrupted voyage from Sydney to Norfolk. Virginia. The California Clipper, which arrived from Sap Francisco, via ports, on Wednesday afternoon, took off at <5.50 a.m. to-day on her return voyage, via Noumea. Waipiata will sail this afternoon for Wellington and South Inland ports as far as Bluff, returning on September 18. (L'.S.S. Co.)

Kakapo arrives at 7 a.m. to-morrow from Lyttelton dircct. She berths at Central wharf and after discharge goes to Wellington, via Portland. (U.S.S. Co. l Kartigi has been bar-bound at Westport, loaded for Auckland, but was expected to cross the bar at 11 p.m. yesterday. She is due here 011 Tuesday morning. (L'.S.S. Co.)

Waimarino left Wellington at G. 30 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. She i--due early 011 Monday and will berth at Prince's wharf. (U.S.S. Co.) Frankfurt, which was due on Wednesday with a general cargo from Xe\\ Orleans, is not expected to report further. (H. and M.)

Kopara, of the Richardson Line, which is under survey, will go into dock early next week for painting and will complete her overhaul by the end of the week. (W. and W.)
