AUCKLAND ENTERTAINMENT.
Circus entertainment of a high value is offered by Perry Brothers, whose show will open at the dock site next Saturday for a season of seven nights and three matinees. Clowns and- dummies have been introduced from Europe and it is claimed that this year the company includes its greatest number of stars, with acts from all parts of the world and the cream of Australasian circus talent. At the inception of this circus company it was decided to bring 011 tour only artists of proven calibre, and during the 70 years since then this policy is reported to have been maintained. 111 addition to the circus attraction there is a zoo. Eighteen cages of wild jungle animals have been gathered from all parts of the universe, together with a herd of elephants, making this one of the largest touring zoos in Australia and New Zealand.
