MOTOR CAR RALLY.

Another motor rally on similar lines to the Rotorua trial last February is being organised by the New Zealand Motor Racing Drivers' Association for the week-end of October 28 and 20. This time the rally is the Chateau Tongariro, National Park, where the niglit will be spent, and return to finish at Auckland 011 the Sunday afternoon.

The cars are divided into two classes, under 12 h.p. and 12 li.p. and over. The prize lint is substantial: —First 2ft<rs. second figs, third :»gs, fourth 2<*s and fifth Ign. Each prize-winner also receives a silver cup. The total journey will be approximately 475 miles. Drivers will be required to run to a predetermined speed, and an arrangement is made for a luncheon stop on each day. Entry fees are £1 for members and £1 10/6 for non-members, but this includes membership in the association for the coming year. " • . Entries close on October 2. Arrangements have been made with the management, of the Chateau, and it i« essential that full details of the party be supplied.
