CABINET MEETS.
NO EMERGENCY ACTION. WEKK-KXD ACTIVITY. (By Telegraph.—Press .Association.) WELLINGTON", this day There was considerable activity in Parliament Buildings dining the weekend in the quarters concerned with the handling of dispatches from Britain and in the offices of the organisation for national security. A special meeting of the Cabinet was held yesterday afternoon to consider latest advices bearing on the European crisis, but at the conclusion of an hour and a half's discussion the acting Prime Minister, the Hon. P. Eraser, said no immediate emergency action was planned by the Government.

Before leaving for home he announced that no ft;rtl" r news beyond that already known to the public through the Press and the Daventrv broadcasts had 'been received by the Government. There appeared, he said, to be a slowing down of developments in London and there was naturally a corresponding slowing 4o«m hem.
