FARMER AND BENZINE TAX.
T appreciate the logic of your correspondent "Welcome Bay." May I ask one question? T believe that recently in Parliament the Minister of Labour, the Hon. P. C. ebb. stated that lie did not wish to deprive any section of the workers of their right to strike. Does he concede this right to the farmers? Let us join forces with the automobile associations to resi-t this unjust tax. All the hizhlv-paid city workers do not under this iniquitous tax pav their share of the co-t of defence. The Hon. P. Fraser says it is for defence. Work forty hours under pleasant conditions and pay nothine. Work eighty hours in the mud away back in the country, provide the London tunde the • Jovcrnnn»nt requires <-o badly, and be taxed heavily for it.
