GARDEN THOUGHTS.

(By Lilian McXaughton, Onerahi, Whangarel.)

Many a time I wander, Into my garden gay, And there, before some wonder, I bow my head and pray. Thanking the One who sends us, These beauties sweet and rare, The roses, bright and fragrant, The lilies, white and pure.

And as I gaze upon them, Their message ,«eems to say, The red rose means my sacrifice, The lily white, "Be pure," The tall blue forget -me-not, "My strength is always sure."

And flo they all remind ue, These messages of love. Of the one who waits to welcome To the garden fair above.
