MRS. BEATRICE BARTOIf. The death occurred to-day of JJj, Beatrice Barton at her home "in Lucenie Road. Rermiera. Prior to her marri*™ to Lieutenant-Colonel -T. E. Barton in 1924 Mrs. Barton w as Si>ter GubbLns, 0 { the N.Z.E.F. Durinp the Great War'ghe served at Walton-on-Tharoes and in tn# s.s. Maheno. in which she made one trin to Now Zealand. In 1918 she came to New Zealand with the first Orthopaedic Unit as the sister in charge of the massage section.
