'I lie "Daily Express" features iin n niiounccment of the British Council for Kelrttions with other countries, which lms invited 1 ~>o more foreign students "to absorb British culture at a cost to the taxpayer of £$750" as a snub to the Kinpire.
It says the number of students invited arc: Greece 2~>, Bulgaria 1(>, Yugoslavia and France each 12, numerous other European countries, Australia, Canada and New Zealand one each.
The students will be granted £2."»0 bursaries for the universities. Tlicy will lie selected throughout the world by Embassy officials. Consuls and regional officers of the council.
