WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. The Government meteorologist issued to the "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south as Hamilton, Kawhia and Tauranga:— Light to moderate south-easterly winds predominating. Weather fair to fine. Milder day but cool night temperatures. Seas slight to moderate. An anti-cyclone covers the Dominion, with its centre over the South Island. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south, fresh; sea, moderate; weather, fine; visibility, good; barometer, rising.
