Owing to the abnormal weather prevail-1 ing during the last week orw the offering! of rabbitekins at to-day's auction was much smaller, only 42 tons being forward. All tiie principal fur buying houses were represented and it was noticeable at the comoiencement of the sale that all descriptions were in demand. The United States was buying strongly and some parcels which went to Australia and Now Zealand furriers gave support. Winter grades, which were in eho-rt supply, were in request, especially bucks, and those appreciated 3d to i)d. Does also sold well and were at about par. Hatters' grades were well up to the level of previous quotations and at times were dearer. Prime winter bucks sold to JOOd, which is the top price of the season, first winter bucks to OUd, prime winter does to 4U&d, and first winter does to 47d.
