CRUTCHINGS SALE. PRICES FIRM AT NAPIER. (]'y Telegraph—Press Association.; HASTINGS, Friday. Prices were firm on recent quotations at the winter sale of crutchings and oddments held at Napier this afternoon. A huge and representative bench of buyers attended. Spirited bidding was sustained throughout, and the bulk of the 3200 hales offered wan sohl under the hammer. Buying was well distributed between Australia. Bradford and the Continent. New Xealani. representatives were comparatively quiet. Linen of fleece which were offered sold well, in some eases 2d to 3d higher than at the close of the last sellseason. The range of prices was as follows: — Supers. lOd to ll'.fcd: good, S'4d to OV4<l: average, S,l to B%d; inferior. C'/id to 7'/id; light seedv. SVid to D'/id; scedv. <i s ,4d to 7%d: heavy seedy. 4M:d to 6d; good crossbred, 12d to 13'/2d; average. lOd to ]H-id; inferior, 7V£d to Od.
