ARRIVAL AT SAMOA. LORD AND LADY GALWAY. BRILLIANT SUNSHINE. (By Telc^Taph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON", this day. H.M.S. Achilles, escorted by twelve native decorated fautasi, anchored in the roadstead at Apia at 8 o'clock yesterday morning, says ;i cable message from Apia. Their Excellencies came ashore at 10 a.m. and were received by the actingAdministrator, Mr. A. C. Turnbull, and Mrs. Turnbull, and Chief Judge Harley and Mrs. Harley. On the wharf were the honourable High Chief Tainasese, European and Samoan members of the Legislative Council, Administration officials and their wives, the faipule and other Samoan officials. A guard of honour of Samoan territorials under the command of Captain K. Pleasants was inspected by hLs Excellency. From the wharf to the Town (.'lock Memorial Tower the road was lined with school children. His Excellency place<l a wreath on the Memorial Tower, and inspected the returned soldiers. The party then proceeded to Mulinuo for the native ceremonies. The streets were gaily decorated with arches and flags. The weather was excellent, with brilliant sunshine. Over 20(H1 persons lined the shore and street around the Customs House and dock tower. A hearty and loyal welcome to Samoa was given liy all.
