Mr. Justice Ostler commented that he did not quite know what to do with it. "The problem has worried mc greatly as a judge, and I have read all I can on the subject," he said. '"So far as medical science has gone there is no cure for crimes of a homosexual nature. "It is a very great problem, and I am "lad to fee that it has troubled you, because it has also troubled me," jie continued. "The position is unsatisfactory, but I think the lesser of two evils is to keep it a criminal offence." Hudson was remanded for sentence.
