MOVE BY FArtMERS. MEETINGS IN" THAMES VALLEY. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) PAEROA, this day. Support for the Farmers' Union's secrH plan to force, the Government to nceedc to farmers' demands has been forthcoming at further meetings addressed l>y th« organiser, Mr. F. E. Carter. Interviewed, Mr. Carter admitted that it was not intended that his meetings should bo open to the Press, and hitherto reporters had been excluded. The plan of action would be disclosed after the Government had announced the guaranteed price for the coming season, said Mr. Carter. At Netherto:i about 50 people, including many members of the newly-formed Young Farmers' Club, attended the meeting, and a resolution pledging support and undertaking to donate XI per member was attested by 18 signatories, only one unionist not signing. A committee was set up to canvass all farmers in the district. At Ngatea 30 farmers signed, only one unionist refraining.
