PRESENTATION TO PASTOR.
CHURCH OF CHRIST REUNION. As an appreciation of ministerial labours during the pa-st ten years, the congregation of "the West Street Church of Christ, at its annual reunion last evening, presented Pastor William Campbell with a wallet and banknotes. The presentation was made by Mr. T. L. Wilcock, the senior elder of the church, who referred in eulogistic terms to Mr. Campbell's abilities as a Biblical student and a preacher.
In responding. Mr. Campbell said that the past ten years had been a period of catastrophic change in the economic affairs of the world as well as in international relationships. These conditions had imposed new strains on Christianity and it was the duty of preachers to direct attention to Biblical truths as l-roviiiiiiL' the ultimate answer to humanity's problems. He thanked the congregation for their gem-rosity.
A programme of musical items, recitations and short addresses followed the reunion tea.
