'N.Z. WOMAN'S WEEKLY' MIDWIFERY IN JAPAN. BEAUTY ARTICLES SERIAL. The cover on this week's i->up of the "Xew Zealand Woman's Weekly"—an attractive fashion design in cyclamen ■iiul black—is bound to appeal to all women. The magazine, this week is well lip to the usual standard in the way of uticles and photographs. The special features include the fir«t of a new series entitled "Lady—He Lovely." These pointers in make-up for evening wear are written by an expert in beauty culture, and they will be of special interest in view of the fact that the dancing season is in full nwinsr. Vext week's nrficle under this head will deal with the care of the hair. The second of the ".lapan To-day" series in the current i>sue of the magazine is on tile practice of midwifery and the various customs will interest the New Zealand woman. This competition is open to all readers in the Dominion (except employees of New Zealand Newspapers, Ltd., and immediate members of their families) without entry fee.
