SISTERS INJURED.

PAPATOETOE COLLISION.

CAR EXTENSIVELY DAMAGED. Miss Peggy Cockburn. aged 2.1, and Mies Antonia Cockburn, aged 20, daughter* of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Cockburn. of Flat Bush Road, Papatoetoe. suffered injuries when the small car in which they were travelling came into collision with a large car driven by Mr. L. Hunter, of Flat Bush Road, Papatoetoe. The mishap occurred at the intersection of Flat Bush and Kimpton Roads. The force of the impact sent both the cars off the road, the smaller coming to reet in a watercourse. This car was extensively damaged end the two sisters were found unconscious in the wreckage. They were taken to the Auckland Hospital in a St. John ambulance after receiving attention from i)r. J. J. Valentine, of Papatoetcc. They are both in a fair condition.
