The third ease of infantile paralysis reported in Poverty Bay in a fortnight resulted in the admission of a patient from Gisborne borough to Cook Hospital, file other two sufferers are from the Kopuawhara railway camp district. Dr. L. 8. David, medical officer of health, said that apparently there was no cause for alarm, as they were isolated cases. The disease was not rare at any time. Dr. Davis added that quarantine conditions had been carried out in all cases.
