MUNICIPAL ORCHESTRA.
WHANGAREI PROPOSAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAXGAREI, this day. Mr. A. Dobson, formerly conductor of the Whangarei Municipal Band, has undertaken the formation of a Municipal Orchestra. ' When he asked the Whansarei Borough Council for the use of the Town Hall for practices and for a subsidy, the requests were granted, and appreciation was expressed of Mr. Dobson's services to the band.
