In connection with the selection of representative teams and the management of toure it wae decided that, with the exception of Auckland A teams, this should be the work of the senior division committee. A committee to bring forward the necessary alterations to the constitution and rules to a later meeting was eet up. It consisted of the secretary, Mr. W. Harrison, and Messrs. W. H. Martin and F. Barron. The playing of'club fixtures by teame with players in representative matches came up for discussion and it wae pointed out that if club competitions were to be interrupted the season would either extend into the summer or woujd have to be abruptly terminated without any decision being reached. The North Shore delegate, Mr. R. Spinley, moved that, where a club has more than two players in a representative team, it shall have the right of refusal to play ite competition match. This was supported by Mr. W. H. Martin, of the Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys' Club, the motion being lost. It was then agreed that the only time when club fixtures should be cancelled was when representative games under the control of the NewZealand Football Association were being played in Auckland.
