POLLING TO-DAY.
DEVOWFOBT BT-ELECTIOH.
There were three candidates, Messrs. S. S. Green, W. R. Simpeon and F. A. Thompson, for the by-election held today to fill the vacancy on the Devonport Borough Council caused by the death of Mr. J. Hislop. Five polling places were arranged, including one in the Ferry Buildings, City. Voting commenced at 9 a.m. and will be completed at 7 o'clock this evening.
