ST. JOHN ASSOCIATION. POSTPONEMENT OF APPEAL. Appreciation of the attitude adopted by the S: John Ambulance Association toward* the current public appeal f or centennial celebration funde was expressed to-day by the chairman of the Auckland Provincial Centennial Council, air Ernest Davis. At his request, said Sir Ernest the association had postponed its appeal so that it would not claeh with the centennial funds campaign. He welcomed the opportunity of acknowledging T h e co-operation he had received in° this respect from the association.
