NORTHLAND'S WET WEEK
FARMERS ARE PLEASED. (By Trlesmpli—Own Corrrsinuulent.) WHAXfJAREI. this day. With a fall of 3.99 in. last week was the wet tot experienced in Northland eince January. The ageregate for June was T.43:u, a total sliphtly below the average. There were 20 wet days, but conditions continued ideal from the farming point of view. English grasses are making perceptible jrrowth and new feed is enabling the lipht hay crop to be preserved Stock remains in good condition and early calvers are coming in well.
