He has grown into a solid-looking gelding, also beans a strong resemblance to his relative, and if he proves to be as good lie will not be hard to place. BRED THE RIGHT WAY. She is a low-set filly and a very robust sort whose breeding suggests that she mar eventually make good. The filly by Vaals from Green Bonnet is making good headway under W. Kirk's supervision and has improved a good deal during the last month- This fillv comes trom a proved family, her grandam Kakama, being a daughter of Soult from winsome, by Cuirassier from Winnie, produced a number of high-class performers. TRIP ABROAD. Mr. P. E Brenan a steward of the Ohineniuri Jockey ( lub. member of the Auckland District Committee and a delegate to the Xew Zealand Racing Conference, intends to Jeav e for a trip to Java next month.
