Every boot factory in New Zealand lias recehed orders for the manufacture of footwear for the military forces, according to a statement of Sir. A. E. W. McDonald, an In\ ercargill footwear merchant, at a meeting ot the Defence Leogue Mr. McDonald said a quota Jiad been allotted to every factory, and no factory could decline the orders.
