SENIOR COMPETITION GAMES. The local final of tlie Chatham Cup in the metropolitan area will be the main Soccer attraction at Blandt'ord JV'k on Saturday, when Ponsonby and Y.M.C.A. will meet in a contest scheduled to commence at 2,:f0 p.in. In the semi-finals piajedjOti I** 1 ! week Y..YI. downed Thistle by tv.Tr <joißs to nil. and Ponsonby had an easy victory against Metro-College. The finalists will We so evenly matched on Saturday that an exciting name is expected between the rival elevens. The winning team will meet South Auckland. Saturday's match will also count in the senior competition. Senior division competition matches will also be played. North Shore meeting Comrades at Devonport. Though Shore went down to Suburbs last week, they have a Sood chance against Comrade*, who just managed to divide honour* with Grey Lynn last week. The issue of the match is hard to pick. Onehunga will play Thistle at the Domain, and it is expected that Thistle will win. though Onehunga showed improvement last week and may spring a surprise. At Western Springs Mount Albert Grammar Old Boys will play Abels and Kastern Suburbs will meet Gre\ Lynn at Si. Helipi's.
