CROQUET CLUBS.
New Lynn.—The annual meeting of the Xew Lynn Croquet Club was held recently. The election of officers resulted President, Mrs. Hammond: vice-president, Mrs. Buckton; honorary secretary and treasurer. Mrs. E. .Siddle; general committee, Mesdames Piatt, .Steventon, Webster, Mays, Mala in, Overington and Buckton; green superintendent, Mrs. Williamson: match sominittee. Mesdames Overington, Webster and Siddle; delegates to the Auckland Croquet Association, Mesdames Hammond and Siddle. Malvern. —The first card afternoon for the winter season of the Malvern Croquet Chili was held in the pavilion recently. The president. Mrs. Aughton, welcomed the visitors. The first prize for 500 was won by Mrs. Kingdon, with Mrs. Aughton second. Mangere East.—The annual meeting of the Mangere East Croquet Club was held in the bowlers' pavilion last week. The following officers were elected: — President, Mrs. D. Penman; vicepresidents, Miss Tims and Mrs. L. Jackson; lion, vice-president, Mrs. A. E. Newson; lion, auditor. Mrs. J. Tait; secretary, Mrs. 0. Laslett (re-elected); treasurer. Mrs. L. Bishop; match committee, Mesdames Hicklow, Jackson and Chapman; general committee. Mesdames Hiekson. Jackson, Chapman, Miss Tims, Mrs.-Penman and Mrs. G. Laslett; delegates to association. Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Hiekson; tea convener, Mrs. L. Bishop. Rawhiti.—The first of a series of monthly card parties was held in their pavilion by the Rawhiti Croquet Club. The prize winners were:—Mesdames Ryalls, Gibson, Hawkins. MacPherson and Harris. Among those present were: Mesdames Brown. Ravenhall. Hepworth, Gibson, Bartlett, Ryalls, Mason. Cliiplin, Harris, Buckrill, Stubbs, Walker, Tlieyers, Kellam, MacPherson, Hawkins and Urquhart.
