SHUNTING FATALITY.

ELDERLY MAN KILLED, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) TIMARU, Tuesday. Run down by a shunting engine at the Heaton Street railway crossing this evening, Mr. Lawrence Thyne, aged 68, was killed instantly. The accident was discovered by a railway 'employee. Mr. Patrick CXeill, who waa cycling home along the track. The driver of the engine know nothing of the accident until after the discovery of frhe body.
