16 EXPECTED IN JTTI.Y.
(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sixteen Vickers Vincent military aeroplanes from Egypt will arrive in New Zealand about the middle of next month, according to a statement by the Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones The aeroplanes are part of the lor ordered bv the Government from the Air Ministry. The Vickers Vincent is almost identi •id with the well-known Vildebeest liaxing: the same airframe and engine, [t has some slightly different fittings however, the Vildebeest having beei designed to carry a torpedo. The Yin •cut is superior in performance to eithe the Baffin or the Gordon, having a to] speed of 125 to 130 miles an hour, li also has a good load-carrying capacity
