ISLAND ORANGES.
MAIN SHIPMENT DUE.
ARRIVAL TO-MORROW. The main shipment of Cook Tfland oranges for the reason is due to arrive at Auckland to-morrow by the Matua. According to Mr. V. R. Picot, Director of ruteriinl Marketing, there will be a large consignment on board, and as the season in the Inlands i* now well advanced, the quality and juice content of the oranges should I>e at their bent. There will be only one more shipment from the Inlands this season, added Mr. Picot. but Australian orange* are now beginning to come. forward. Navels imported from Queensland bv the Internal Marketing Division have juet been released in Auckland for the firet time thi« sphuoii. Mr. Picot is in Auckland to supervise the unloading of the oranges to-morrow and their transportation to Southern centre*, and also in connection with the plans for the new building to be erected near the City Markets for the Interna! Marketing Division.
